Vorige week: Charly Jordan
Good for you!
Gelukkig Nieuwjaar!
#truthbehindthisshot We spent over 100€ on the food and drinks you see in the second picture just so we could could take the first picture in such a fancy location. Worth it? Probably not. But at least I can post it to my Instagram to make casting directors and business partners who look at my feed think I live a fancy life, right? – we buy things we don’t need with money we don’t have to impress people we don’t like – (@ #sketchlondon / shot by @kaimarks_ who took this with his phone¿¿¿ crazy talented kid, check him out ⚡️)
I’m only posting those photoshopped modelling pics because it’s my job and Instagram has become a business card for models. I know you see hundreds of those posed and edited pictures every single day and I want to remind you that this is not real life. Don’t ever let photos of fake bodies make you feel like you’re not good enough. I don’t know how much was retouched in this picture but I do know that it took about 20min till we got the right shot and that my makeup took about 40min till it looked like this. Also, do you really think this is a natural and comfortable pose? Just keep those things in mind next time when you’re scrolling down your feed, looking at all those perfect faces and flawless bodies. Retouching and photography in general are a form of art and shouldn’t be considered reality. I wish you all a wonderful day/evening. ♥️ x Jazz
I wrote an article about the FULL truth behind my life as a model and it took me a lot of courage to speak of some things that I have never even told anyone before… You can find it if you click the link in my bio. It would mean so so much to me if you share it on Facebook! Comment with "done" and I'll message you personally. ♥️ You guys gave me the strength to do this so here's a big THANK YOU for always supporting me, no matter what. ♥️ You're the best 🤘🏼
#truthbehindthisshot these are screenshots of a music video I have never seen. I had cancelled all my appointments and rescheduled my timetable just to organise and shoot this music video bc I loved the band it was for. We were shooting until late and I had to stay one more night in Munich so we were able to finish it. The next morning I was absolutely exhausted and didn't hear that my agent had called me and knocked on my door. There should've been 3 shootings in the studio of my model apartment and I had locked the door bc I didn't know they would come. I called my agent and he was super mad at me. He said I missed 2 big clients and some important castings he had organised for me. I had to pack my stuff within one hour and leave the apartment. I was absolutely sorry for the circumstances and was super worried. My only thought was 'well at least we still have a bombass music video..' LOL the videographer messaged me some weeks later on Snapchat if I wanted to see his dick. I responded calmly if he could please get back to being professional. The video was due some days later so I emailed him asking about it. He then blocked me everywhere. Great. No music video. I had to explain to the band why I can't send them the finished video, I had to apologise to my agency for letting them down, aaand I missed very important appointments bc we had to shoot longer than expected. Absolutely wonderful. . . (Note: screenshots were handed to me before the videographer got all weird)
I don't know why so many photographers in the hf industry are against smiling in pictures. Can't remember the last time I was allowed to smile in an editorial. But hey if they don't want me to smile I simply take the picture myself. 🤗 went to take a couple shots yesterday w/ a friend of mine 🌼 hope y'all have a lovely day x
